Cómpeta and Canillas de Albaida are two white villages in the foothills of the Sierra Almijara, only 20 km. (approx.) from the Costa del Sol - but a world apart! These two villages (alt. 575 - 633 M.) give access to the Nature Reserve of the Sierras Tejeda and Almijara, some 40,000 hectares. |
Accommodation can be offered in either of the above villages to suit your individual requirements, from B&B to 3* hotel accommodation. In the evenings there are plenty of local restaurants/bars in the villages to cater for all requirements, including vegeterian.
The villages are approximately one hour's drive from Malaga's International Airport and the seaside resorts of Nerja and Torre del Mar are within easy reach. The local villages of Archez, Corumbela, Sedella, etc. are also very interesting to visit.
